CLIENT: National Museum, Wellingtion NZ
CHALLENGE: Deliver an inspirational yet functional visual barrier to overhead utilities, without impact on the functionality of the building’s fire sprinkler system.
SOLUTION: A series of KLM22 Water Clear seamless mesh wave-panels that offered a straight line-of-sight 50% closed area, whilst 3D cross-sectional specifications delivered a maximum 86% open area.
RESULT: A water/wavelike series of translucent paneling that responded to the diaphanous play of light, and became a key component of the permanent exhibition.
