CHALLENGE: Create a unique, sheer column enclosure within a lively bar and lounge while being durable.
SOLUTION: A rectilinear illuminated tube was conceived by DMAC Architecture to envelope an existing concrete column. The feature utilized 4 vertical metres of rod-mounted
KML22 Water Clear seamless mesh that extended up to recess in a ceiling cove. Colour changing light from within transforms the character and opacity of the screen to match the changing mood from restaurant to club.
RESULT: Kaynemaile and Bloom Lighting fabricated a tailored installation that transforms with light and invites patrons to touch and play.
