CLIENT: PAL Design Consultants Ltd. Hong Kong
CHALLENGE: Create a unique installation feature for an upmarket restaurant, creating segregation and privacy for exclusive groups of diners, whilst keeping them within the overall ambience of the establishment.
SOLUTION: Five different circular ‘pods’ of exclusive tables were conceived by the architect, using 264 square metres of Kaynemaile KML22 Water Clear mesh. This was mounted on overhead rail systems for easy access and transformation of restaurant dynamics.
RESULT: A versatile installation that is freely adaptable to number of diners, size of groups, different events and time of day.
