Design and Sales Support

Kaynemaile's roots are in the creative sectors of film and design. We built an idea into a unique architectural product which is now specified on projects around the world.

We work collaboratively with architects, designers and specifiers and are carrying this collaborative ethos with us as we grow into a world-leading brand.

We currently have a great opportunity within our team for a design and sales support coordinator.

This role will be responsible for providing sales and design support to our customers and distributors around the world as well as coordinating multiple projects through to production and delivery.


Your experience

You might currently be working in a creative environment as a graduate in spatial or graphic design, or you may be a junior architectural technician looking for a broader role.

You'll be a creative, focused person with a few years' experience taking projects from conception through to delivery. You will have great written and oral communication skills and be able to use them across disciplines. Preferably you will have a design background with a good working knowledge of a 3-D design package such as Revit, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar, as well as the Adobe suite.

You will be a great problem solver and have worked within small collaborative teams. You will know your way around a spreadsheet and be able to demonstrate your recent project management successes.

Construction or fabrication knowledge, either in specifying or hands-on, is an advantage. Some sales or contract administration experience is also a bonus.

You'll have a good sense of humour and won't take yourself too seriously.

Although this role is within the sales team we are not looking for a sales person.


We are looking for the right person so are flexible on our approach and will consider a part-time or contract position.

The role is based in our head office and production facility in Petone, Lower Hutt.

·       Ideally a 3-D/2-D design background
·       Customer or consumer focused
·       Great written and oral communication skills
·       Project management experience
·       Working knowledge in the Adobe suite
·       Working knowledge with a CAD 3-D package
·       Experience in working within a small team
·       Construction knowledge or experience
·       Some sales experience or contract administration
