Terms and Conditions


Some definitions you may find useful

Owner That’s us - Kaynemaile
Hirer That’s you – the person hiring the Kaynemaile.  

All Reservations/Contracts are subject to Kaynemaile Limited Terms and Conditions of Hire whether or not this document has been signed.


Collection of equipment

The Hirer must collect the equipment from Kaynemaile HQ.
The Owner will ensure the goods are ready for collection by the date and time specified on the quote and invoice.

 

More simply put
You’re in charge of collecting the Kaynemaile screens and getting them to where you want them. We’ll make sure they’re ready to do.


Return of equipment

The Hirer is responsible for returning the Kaynemaile screens to Kaynemaile HQ. Late return will result in a late fee.

 

More simply put
Make sure you return the screens at the agreed date and time to avoid a late fee.


Hire Period

Hiring commences from the date shown on the quote – which is the date of collection from Kaynemaile HQ.

The hiring shall terminate on the date shown on the quote. By that date the Hire Screens are to be delivered back to Kaynemaile HQ.

 

More simply put
The hire period starts when you collect the screens from Kaynemaile and finishes once they’ve been returned.


Hire Fee

Equipment is hired on a daily rate. The minimum charge for any hiring will be the rate for one day irrespective of the length of hire.

Payment

Upon confirmation of the quote provided, 50% deposit is to be paid to confirm the hire.

100% payment is required prior to when the hire commences. 

Payment method is via direct bank transfer or Paypal. If the hirer wishes to pay via Papal a 4% fee on top of the hire fee will be charged.

You pay 50% to confirm your hire, the other 50% before you pick up the screens.

Termination of Hire

The Hire will naturally terminate when the Kaynemaile Screens have been returned.


Care of Equipment

The Hirer shall take proper care of the equipment and shall indemnify the owner against any damage or loss or from theft. The Hirer must reimburse the owner in full for any damage or loss immediately upon termination of hire.

Please be careful with the screens during your hire.
If you damage them, you will be liable to pay for the damage.


Injury or Damage to Hirer or Third persons or Property:

The Hirer shall not have any claim against the Owner for loss or damage suffered by the Hirer as a result of the Hirer's use of the equipment and further the Hirer will indemnify the Owner against any claim by a third person in respect of any loss, injury or liability arising from this hiring or arising out of the use of the equipment hired by the Hirer.

 

Pre-Hire Inspection

The Hirer can inspect the Kaynemaile screens prior to hire. The inspection time is to be arranged between the Hirer and Owner. The Hirer cannot inspect the Kaynemaile Screens without arranging an inspection time.

If you want to look at the screens before you hire them, feel free! Just make sure you call or email us to arrange a time first.


Post Hire Inspection

Once the Kaynemaile Screens have been returned by the Hirer after the hire period, the Owner will inspect the screens within 24 hours for damage

Once you’ve returned the screens, we will look over them to ensure they’re in the same condition as when they left us.


Screen faults or breakdowns

The Hirer warrants that he is competent and qualified to use the Kaynemaile Screens.  

Breakdown resulting from misuse shall not in any circumstances shorten the period of hire.

It is the Hirers responsibility to satisfy himself that the Kaynemaile Screens are suitable for the work intended and that it is used in a way that complies with all statutory requirements.

The Kaynemaile Screens are not new or equal to new but when collected all items are understood to be in good condition and fit for normal use.

The Owner is not liable for any loss suffered by the Hirer or liability incurred by the Hirer as a result of the breakdown of the equipment howsoever caused. In the event of breakdown the Hirer must immediately notify the Owner by telephone.

 

No warranties by owner

The Owner makes no warranty or representations as to the state, quality or fitness of the Kaynemaile screens for any purpose.

All implied warranties and conditions as to the state, quality, or fitness of the Kaynemaile Screens for any purpose are hereby excluded.

 

No assignment of hire agreement

The hirer shall not sublet the Kaynemaile Screens to any other person.


Cancellation Fee

In the event of cancellation by the Hirer the Owner retains the right to charge a cancellation fee equivalent of costs incurred by the Owner.


Authority to sign

The person signing this document for and on behalf of the Hirer (if not personally the Hirer) warrants that he has the authority of the Hirer to make this contract on the Hirer's behalf and that he is empowered by the Hirer to bind the Hirer to this agreement. The person so signing hereby indemnifies the Owner against all losses and costs that may be incurred by the Owner arising out of the person so signing the agreement failing to have such power of authority.
